Concession Policy Update

The board met last night and has the following policy for concession volunteering: Teams on Lunt 3 are each responsible for having a concession volunteer. The volunteers must be an ADULT. Children of the adults are allowed to help but no child should be handling money or working the register.

A note on the importance of concession for GMLB. The concession revenue covers a lot of the costs to run the league in the regular season. Most of the items are donated which allows us to use the profits to pay for field maintenance (mowing), umpires, and electricity. Having volunteers to run the concession keeps costs down. And of course when parents pay for team treats that is also a great help!
